Communications & Public Relations Specialist

Responsible for creating and implementing Communications and Public Relations programs to achieve proactive and positive awareness, branding and messaging in support of the goals of Presbyterian SeniorCare’s Aging Services Network (ASN). Create and disseminate the awareness, branding and messaging via multiple traditional media, social media and web-based channels.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing/PR or writing; at least two years’ experience working with media, community members and organizations, legislators and advocacy issues. Prior experience working in media, communications, public relations and/or non-profit organizations preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proofreading/editing skills. Proficient in variety of software programs, specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Pagemaker, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Dietary aides perform simple food preparation tasks, serve food and clean up after meal service. They work tray-line stations to serve residents’ food, according to predetermined items and portions. Additionally, they clean and wash dishes to meet health and safety regulations.
