Ways To Give

Tribute gifts enable you to remember and acknowledge the life of a loved one or celebrate a special occasion or milestone. The Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation sends the donor a prompt acknowledgement of a tribute gift made in honor or memory of someone. A special letter summarizing gifts received by the Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation also is sent to the person being honored or to the family of the individual in whose memory the donation is made, with no mention of the gift amount.
It is easy to make a gift to the Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation:
l Cash, check or credit card
l Pledges Many donors choose to make a multi-payment pledge in support of any of our funds. This method will enable you to consider a larger investment with payment stretched over months or years. Reminder notices will be sent at regular intervals as requested.
l Stock – Appreciated Securities Gifts of appreciated stock can support Presbyterian SeniorCare and might ease your capital gains tax burden. (Consult your tax professional for additional information.) Please contact the Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation before making a gift of stock. Due to privacy laws, we are unable to know who transferred the stock unless we are notified personally. When you notify the Foundation, we can ensure that you receive proper acknowledgement and that your gift is directed to the program you choose to support.
l Planned Gifts Deferred gifts or gifts made through one’s estate are a
long-term investment in the mission of Presbyterian SeniorCare.
l Matching Gifts To maximize your gift, many employers match their employees’ donation to not-for-profit organizations. Contact your employer’s human resources department to see if this service is offered and obtain a matching gift form.
l United Way and Other Workplace Giving Campaigns You can support the mission of Presbyterian SeniorCare each year by directing all or part of your United Way or government campaign contribution to Presbyterian SeniorCare.
