Welcome Board Chairs!

October 31, 2017

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is proud to announce the appointment of Laura Synnott and William Bates, our new board chair and board vice-chair, respectively.

Laura has served on the Presbyterian SeniorCare board for 12 years, serving as vice-chair for two years and as chair of the strategy committee for several years. Laura is Associate Teaching Professor at the H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University where she teaches courses in project management, health care management and health industry mergers, alliances and divestitures. She has over thirty years of leadership experience as a consultant and hospital executive, specializing in strategy, operations, project management and physician leadership. Laura also advises health care growth-stage companies on issues relating to governance, strategy, and expansion.

Bill has served on the Presbyterian SeniorCare board for 13 years. He has extensive domestic and international development experience in corporate real estate construction. He is currently employed as the Vice-President of Real Estate for Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, Inc., and he holds an adjunct professor position at Carnegie Mellon University in the School of Architecture.

Currently, Bill is preparing to serve as the national president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). After working in various leadership roles with the local and state AIA, Bill last year was elected to become national president of the organization. He will start his term as president in 2019, a full-time position based in Washington, D.C. that will take him away from his current role at Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.

We are excited that Laura and Bill bring unique perspectives and skill sets to guide us on our journey to excellence!
