Ways to Give

It’s easy to be our partner in ensuring quality care and living options for our region’s seniors through a gift to Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation and the SeniorCARE FUND.

One way you may join us in celebrating life through its many phases is to make a Tribute Gift.  Tribute Gifts enable you to remember and acknowledge the life of a loved one or to honor a special occasion or milestone.  You will receive a prompt acknowledgement of your gift and the person being honored will be sent a special notification letter with no mention of the gift amount.  Similarly, if you are making a gift in memory of someone, a gift notification letter will be sent to the family of the person in whose memory the gift was made.  If you would like to direct family and friends to make memorial gifts to Presbyterian SeniorCare, you may download and print our suggested language for your loved one’s obituary. Other ways to give include:

Gifts of Stock or appreciated securities can support Presbyterian SeniorCare’s mission and might ease your capital gains tax burden. (Consult your tax professional for additional information.) Please contact the Foundation before making your gift of stock, as privacy laws prohibit us from knowing who transferred the stock.  When you contact us personally about your gift of stock, we will ensure that you receive proper acknowledgement and that your gift is directed to the program of your choice.

Planned Gifts give you the chance to make a long-term investment in the mission of Presbyterian SeniorCare.  Please call the Foundation office at 412.826.6195 to learn more on how you may plan a deferred gift or gift from your estate.

Matching Gifts enable you to double your support! Please contact the Human Resources Department at your or your spouse’s employer to see if they offer this service and to obtain a matching gift form.

United Way and other Workplace Giving Campaigns allow you to support our mission each year by designating your United Way or government campaign contribution to Presbyterian SeniorCare.

In-kind Gifts are non-cash gifts of products, goods or services, such as equipment, books, computers, furniture, etc.  While we are grateful for all donations, your in-kind gifts may only be accepted if they are usable by Presbyterian SeniorCare for our residents.  Please contact the Foundation to inquire if your items can benefit Presbyterian SeniorCare.
