Pittsburgh, PA, November 19, 2021 – For the second straight year, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is appealing to the public to make this holiday even more special for hundreds of residents in their care through its Amazon Gift Registry.

The Lifestyle Engagement Teams across Presbyterian SeniorCare Network campuses are continuing this program that provides residents with personally selected gifts.

The residents loved this special treatment last year, which brought in 1,363 gifts for seniors, according to Brittney Rostek, the Lifestyle Engagement coordinator of this gift-giving campaign.

“It brings so much joy to our residents and was such a success last year,” Mrs. Rostek said. “This Amazon gift registry is an extra, added surprise for our residents, especially when they find out that their personally selected gift is from a thoughtful donor. I am just so thankful to work with a team that goes above and beyond to make this possible.”

Last year’s first-ever Amazon Gift Registry provided an essential way for families to give gifts to loved ones during pandemic restrictions.

This year, while family visits have returned for the most part, temporary restrictions can occasionally occur within certain sections of communities. This makes the Amazon Gift Registry vital to continue.

The public is encouraged to participate by placing a registry order on prior to December 16, which will allow for the campus “elves” to wrap and include a personalized note of cheer for delivery to each resident on Christmas Day.
