A Personalized Roadmap for Dementia Care at Home

Not only is every person living with dementia impacted differerently, but every family experience caring for someone living with dementia looks different as well. This means getting answers and solutions for your situation is a very personal journey.

That’s why Dementia360 was created.

We understand that no two situations are the same and you need solutions that work specifically for the nuances of your situation. Dementia360 supports your family by pairing you with a dementia care expert to understand YOUR specific situation, and to give you the coaching, teaching, problem solving, connections to resources and ongoing support. We are committed to helping you keep your loved one at home for as long as that is your goal, and to giving you a life that is better because you have what you need to be successful.

Many programs are focused on providing care for your loved one. We’re focused on helping YOU, the caregiver. You don’t have to face this alone.

We support families all along the dementia journey; it is never too early or too late to ask for help.

Does my loved one need to have a diagnosis to enroll in Dementia360?

A formal diagnosis is not necessary. If you believe your loved one is experiencing signs or symptoms of dementia, we can help.

What is your service area?

There are no restrictions to our service area. If needed, Dementia360 support can be effectively provided 100% virtually.

Is Dementia360 covered by my insurance?

Dementia360 is a private pay program, meaning it is not covered by most insurance companies. However, some long-term care insurance companies do cover the cost of the program – if you have long-term care insurance, check with your company for specifics.

I’m not sure whether to keep my loved one at home or move them into long-term care. Should I make that decision before enrolling in Dementia360?

You don’t need to have everything figured out before joining Dementia360. Many families enroll while they’re still weighing this important decision. Our program is designed to support you through this transition—helping you care for your loved one at home and improving quality of life for both of you while you explore your options.

From a financial standpoint, one year of Dementia360 costs significantly less than a single month in long-term care, making it a smart investment if your loved one remains at home, even temporarily.

Do you provide in-home care?

Dementia360 doesn’t provide in-home care directly. Our primary focus is coaching and ongoing support for families navigating dementia care. However, we can help you find the right in-home care provider and work with you to create a positive, supportive experience for both your loved one and the in-home caregiver.

How is Dementia360 support different from what my doctor’s office can provide?

Your doctor’s office is essential for diagnosis and medical treatment, but they often don’t have the time—or sometimes the specific training—to address the everyday realities of living with dementia. Dementia360 focuses on the practical, emotional, and relational challenges that come with caregiving. Our experts get to know your unique situation deeply and provide personalized, ongoing support tailored to what you and your loved one need. We’re here to help you navigate day-to-day life and adjust as things change, with regular check-ins and strategies to make life at home more manageable and meaningful.

How is Dementia360 support different than the support I could get in a support group?

Many families choose to participate in both a support group and Dementia360, and for good reason. Support groups offer a sense of community, allowing you to connect with others on a similar journey and occasionally pick up helpful tips from shared experiences.

Dementia360, on the other hand, offers personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored specifically to your unique situation. Our expert guidance helps you navigate the challenges of dementia with clarity and confidence. We can also connect you with local support groups and other families facing similar experiences, expanding your network of understanding and support.

Does Dementia360 offer opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges?

Yes, absolutely! In addition to the personalized coaching and one-on-one support from your dedicated care coordinator, Dementia360 provides a range of opportunities to connect with others. We host two virtual engagement events each week, a monthly virtual support group, and a private Dementia360 Facebook community where you can connect with fellow caregivers. We also offer virtual “Caregiver Academy” group learning sessions to deepen your knowledge and share experiences. For those who prefer in-person connection, we host a monthly Memory Café and occasional local events to bring families together.

I’m so overwhelmed I just don’t know where to start. Can Dementia360 help me if I don’t know exactly what I need?

Absolutely. Many families come to us feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin—that’s exactly why Dementia360 exists. We begin by pairing you with a dementia expert, who can help you put real solutions in place for today’s challenges, whether it’s improving routines, reducing stress, or solving specific challenges, and help you build a plan for the future, one step at a time. Our support is personalized to your family’s unique needs, helping you prioritize, take small steps, and adjust over time. You don’t need to have it all figured out—we’ll meet you where you are and walk this journey with you.

Is my family too early in the dementia journey to benefit from your program? We just received a diagnosis and things are OK right now.

Not at all; dementia360 supports families at every part of the dementia journey, including the very beginning. In fact, starting early allows us to help you build strong, healthy caregiving habits that can prevent common challenges down the road. We focus on helping both you and your loved one live as well as possible for as long as possible, while also supporting you as a caregiver—because feeling confident and supported makes all the difference. We’ll work with you to help you both keep doing the things that bring life meaning, and to adapt those routines thoughtfully as needs begin to change.

I’m worried about my mom with dementia, but I’m also really concerned about my dad caring for her—he seems overwhelmed. But every time I offer help, he says they’re fine. What can I do?

It’s common for caregivers to downplay their own stress, even when it’s clearly affecting their well-being. Your dad may feel guilty accepting help or worry that it means he’s failing. A good starting point is to gently acknowledge the signs of his stress and remind him that accepting help—like Dementia360—isn’t giving up, it’s taking care of both himself and your mom. You could also focus instead on how the program could help the whole family. For example, you could say, “Dad, Dementia360 can help all of us learn more about how to help Mom.”  You or another family member can even initiate the program to help ease him into it when he’s ready.

My family member will never agree to Dementia360… what do I do?

That’s okay—Dementia360 is designed to support family caregivers, whether or not the person living with dementia is aware of or agrees to the program. Many people with dementia experience anosognosia, a condition that prevents them from recognizing their own memory or thinking changes, so it’s common for them not to understand why help is needed. In fact, most of the 600+ families we’ve worked with have enrolled without the person with dementia even knowing the program exists. The goal isn’t to convince your loved one they have dementia—it’s to equip you with the tools and strategies to support them in ways they’ll accept and respond to positively.
