Volunteers Enrich the Aging Experience
The more we give, the happier we feel. Perhaps this is why volunteering is a pastime for many. Presbyterian SeniorCare Network volunteers hail from many backgrounds and age groups, bringing a variety of skills and talents to help enhance the day-to-day programming at our campuses.
Be sure to flip through the pages of the Fall 2018 issue of Heartlines linked below to learn more about our volunteers and all that they give to our organization!
Perhaps you will be inspired to find an hour or two in your week to volunteer at one of our communities!
Ways that Volunteers Can Make a Difference
In addition to participating in special events for resident, you'll have the opportunity and flexibility to contribute in a variety of worthwhile ways. We rely on volunteers for our unique hospice and pet therapy programs, as well as more traditional opportunities such as: resident visitation, Eucharistic ministry, engaging residents in activities, staffing for on-campus shops, and serving as an escort around campus and for community outings.Close
Inquire About Volunteering
You'll often hear Presbyterian SeniorCare Network residents say our team is "like family"—and that includes our volunteers. Our volunteers represent a variety of ages and life experiences, but they make an immeasurable, positive impact in the lives of our residents and their family members.Close
